Flomerics Education Program

Today’s students are tomorrow’s engineers. We recognise this and provide access to all our software for teaching and educational use at vastly reduced prices. The educational versions of all our software products are identical to those used in industry, with no imposed restrictions on the physical models available or the mesh size.

Engineering Fluid Dynamics

Because EFD is fully embedded within the mechanical CAD environment students can focus solely on learning about fluid dynamics instead of learning new software, providing the best possible experience of using CFD. EFD is available with its own integrated solid modeller, or can be embedded within the Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA V5 or SolidWorks design environments - perfect for teaching fluid dynamics to mechanical engineering students and investigating fluid flow behaviour within engineering education.


Electronics Cooling

Flomerics develops a number of complementary software programs that deal with different aspects of the physical design of electronics. FLOTHERM is the world-leading software for the thermal simulation of electronics systems, complemented by FLO/PCB for collaborative PCB design.


Building Heating & Ventilation

Flomerics also develops FLOVENT, a software program which is applied to the heating, air-conditioning and ventilation of buildings. EFD also finds wide use in the HVAC industry.
